What price does she ask of me?
but to be mindful, of all I see.
No gold coins for a sunset
or silver for a grand oak tree,
no cost incurred as fields roll by
or a wake of buzzards fill the skies.
So little does she ask of me,
but gratitude for all I see.

So true, Alison! 😀 Nature and its gifts are all around us, available without cost, ready for us to absorb into our souls. Wonderful poem and reminder. Have a great weekend! 🌻

Thanks, Annika. It’s a very windy and wet picture this weekend though. Hope it’s better where you are.

You have a real gift with words, the photos are beautiful. It seems that when weather conditions aren’t ideal, we get some pretty amazing photos, beautiful images.

Thank you, Laura, for your kind comment. The weather here now is almost autumnal and I have to admit I’m looking forward to Autumn here and the new array of colours and sights. It would be nice to have a little more warm weather though.

I am almost envious of you and that autumn weather, I am looking forward to it. Although I have a small bed of flowers that have a way to go to flowering before summer ends, so I hope for the blooms and then the beautiful autumn colors and cooler temperatures.
